For referring providers
Refer your Medicare patients to therapy that fits their life.
Total Life provides licensed online therapy for adults 65 and older, across 50 states, with closed-loop outcomes reporting back to your practice.
Medicare-covered. Specialized in late-life mental health. Built for the patients who say yes to therapy in your office and never make the call.

Why clinicians refer to Total Life.
Most older adults who could benefit from therapy never start. Cost, transportation, and finding a clinician who works with their generation are the reasons we hear most often. We built Total Life around those three barriers.
Built for adults 65+
Every Total Life therapist is trained in late-life issues: grief, cognitive change, caregiver stress, life transitions. Your patient is not the youngest on a generalist's caseload.
Medicare Part B provider
Total Life is a Medicare-enrolled provider. Original Medicare covers 80% of sessions; most patients with supplemental insurance pay $0. Reduces the cost barrier that stops most older adults from following through on a referral.
Care that meets them at home
Sessions are by phone or video, from your patient's home. No transportation hurdle, no waiting-room exposure, no leaving a spouse alone. Same-week appointments in most states.
Referral workflow
From your chart to their living room in 48 hours.
01
You send the referral
Submit a referral in under three minutes through our secure portal or your EHR. No phone tag, no fax. We accept HL7 / Direct messaging from major EHRs.
02
We match within 48 hours
A Total Life care coordinator contacts your patient, verifies Medicare coverage, and matches them with a licensed therapist who fits their needs, language, and state.
03
You receive closed-loop reports
Your office gets a quarterly outcomes summary for each referred patient: attendance, validated symptom-scale change (PHQ-9, GAD-7), and care notes you can drop in your chart.
Outcomes
We measure what therapy is supposed to change.
Every Total Life member completes the PHQ-9 (depression) and GAD-7 (anxiety) at intake and at regular intervals. Symptom-scale change is the metric we share back with your practice, not promotional numbers.
Population-level outcomes are reported quarterly to referring practices under data-sharing agreements. Specific aggregate figures are available on request and updated as our clinical operations team publishes them.
PHQ-9
Validated 9-item depression scale, completed at intake and every 4 sessions.
GAD-7
Validated 7-item anxiety scale, completed at intake and every 4 sessions.
Closed-loop reporting
Your office receives a quarterly outcomes summary for every referred patient who has completed at least four sessions. Drop-in-chart format.
Credentialing & coverage

Total Life therapists are credentialed under Medicare Part B and accept Original Medicare in every state we operate in. Most patients with Medigap or Medicare Advantage supplemental plans pay $0 out of pocket.
