Huynh What makes you enjoy working with seniors? What I enjoy most about working with older adult is they are pleasant in conversation and have a wealth of life experiences which we could all learn from. Why do you think online therapy is effective for seniors?

Online therapy is as effective as traditional therapy because it still addresses and helps alleviate the emotional and behavioral concerns older adults experience in the convenience and comfort of their own home. How do you approach therapy sessions? I considered the unique needs of my clients and provide therapy using individualized treatment plan and interventions.

I also give thoughts to every client's unique situation and plan my session before our meeting. However, I also believe in the importance of collaboration and client involvement in their own treatment giving them an opportunity to voice their needs, expectations, provide feedbacks and follow through with their treatment plan. What is your advice to someone who is starting therapy for the first time?

There's no better time to start therapy than now when you need it. Get the help that you need, especially when insurance is covering for it but, at the same time, do not take that for granted because therapy also takes your time, patience, and commitment for progress
