Facilitator Terms and Conditions

These Facilitator Terms and Conditions (the “Facilitator Terms”) govern the relationship between Total Life (“Total Life,” “we,” or “us”) and any individual or organization (“Facilitator,” “you”) engaged to deliver Total Life wellness programs, group sessions, workshops, or non-clinical coaching for older adults. By accepting an engagement, you agree to these Facilitator Terms.

1. Non-clinical scope

Facilitator engagements are explicitly non-clinical. Facilitator will not provide therapy, diagnose, or treat any mental or physical health condition. Facilitator will refer participants to a licensed clinician at Total Life or to the resources listed on the Total Life Emergency Resources page when a clinical need is identified.

2. Qualifications

Facilitator represents and warrants that Facilitator has the training, certifications, and experience appropriate for the wellness modality Facilitator is engaged to deliver (for example, group facilitation, movement, mindfulness, nutrition coaching), and will provide Total Life with documentation of these qualifications on request.

3. Compensation and scheduling

Compensation, scheduling, and group size are specified in Facilitator’s individual engagement letter. Facilitator will use Total Life’s scheduling and communication tools and will not solicit Total Life participants through personal channels.

4. Confidentiality

While Facilitator engagements are non-clinical and do not generate protected health information, Facilitator will treat all participant information as confidential and will not disclose, share, or use it outside of the Total Life engagement.

5. Code of conduct

Facilitator will treat all participants with dignity and respect, will not promote products or services outside of the engagement, and will not engage in personal relationships with participants outside of the Total Life context.

6. Independent contractor relationship

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Facilitator engages with Total Life as an independent contractor. Nothing in these Facilitator Terms creates an employment, partnership, or joint-venture relationship.

7. Non-solicitation

For the duration of Facilitator’s engagement and for twelve months thereafter, Facilitator will not solicit Total Life participants for services outside of the Total Life platform.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate Facilitator’s engagement on the notice period specified in Facilitator’s engagement letter, or immediately for cause.
